I am a seasoned Project Controls professional
with over 20 years of project experience including specific expertise in CPM
scheduling. I’ve developed and maintained multiple EPC project
schedules, including detailed Startup sequences. I work both for and
with the Project team in the development and execution of the Project
Plan. I always present the project from the scheduling perspective in
all meetings with client, staff and sub-contractors. I’m proficient in
development and use of project-specific Work Breakdown and Enterprise Project
Structures (WBS and EPS), with years of experience in construction progress
assessment; devising workarounds, analyzing and revising logic. I am
currently performing earned value calculations, CPI, SPI and variance
reporting on multiple DOE projects.

WORK EXPERIENCE -
Contractor for Duke Energy, Charlotte NC
January 2010 to present
Working for Grid Modernization PMO to develop the
GM portfolio and input Microsoft Project schedules into Microsoft Server
while supporting Distribution Automation projects including Line Sensor
installation, Self Healing Team installation, AMI to DMS Integration and
Recloser upgrades to SCADA control in the western Carolina region. Have
worked for the past four years on Next Generation Demand Response (NGDR)
program constructing a 900-mhz mesh network across multiple service areas in
three states (FL, NC and SC) to provide two-way communication for gap AMI
meter projects and a direct load control project in Florida. The
program was valued at $528m and consisted of nine sub-projects. The six AMI
sub-projects have come to a successful conclusion, on-schedule and under
budget. The Master Integrated Schedule to WBS level 10 consisted of
approximately 5,000 activities. These schedules were resource-loaded by
activity, and cost-loaded at level 3. EV, CPI and SPI are still being
reported monthly to DOE at the sub-project level.
